Happy Halloween Haunting House

Hi there again.
The past weeks were very busy, my yearly theater play is comming real soon and i have lots of things to arange before the premiere starts, saterday evening the 5th of November.
But i couldn't resist to make something for Halloween, although this isn't a big thing here in Holland. The SOUS challenge was something with a fence and this little house has some. I hope it is the challenge worthy.
At least i had very much fun making it. There were many parts to put and glue together and during the proces i saw the little house grow out to be a really happy hounting house.
Everyone overthere in the USA, a very happy Halloween, enjoy the day and i wish all the kids lots of candy!!

Tree Challenge Sous

Hi there, I'm exited! Finally the wall in my bathroom is nicely decorated. Thanks to you, lady's of Stuck on U! You always put great challenges on the blog and inspire me so much.
This week the challenge was to make something with a tree dye cut.
And that was exactly what my bathroom wall needed. So i took 3 colours of vynil (you can't find so many colours here in Holland as in the USA)The coulors are very bright, you can't see it so well on the picture (bad bathroom light for pictures LOL)
I used Wall decor for the tree and leaves, and Home Accents for the swirls, butterflies and birds.
As i wanted it so big as possible i cut out the tree in 2 pieces and sticked it together in the middle.

Jilly & Juultje

My two hamsters, Jilly and Juultje

The last September challenge of SOUS is perfect for the pictures of my two hamsters.
They are very adorable and like to get attention and someting nice to eat. Every time i open the cage (you only see a little part of the cage), they come to collect the tasty things i give them. They are almost 2 years old now. Jilly went ill last week, she cought a cold and was very wheezy. We brought her to the vet and he gave her a little shot. She recovered but is still a little bit slow. The vet also told us, she is pretty old for a hamster. I do hope she'll stay alive for a while.

I used home decor for the swirles and George and basic shapes for the oval. For the names i used Jasmine but because the letters were very thin i decided tho stamp them on the lay-out. It became a little bit messy but as i sponged the borders of the lay-out and the photo's i found it not an issue.

                                                           Challenge dye cut "Hearts

My daughter and  boyfriend are born on the same day. They turned 25 on the 25th of september.
They are both very sporty and i wanted to give them a financial gift for their sports. I didn't like it to give it strait away so i made each a gift wrap with their farorite sport illustrated.
I used "everyday paper doll and for the heart "home decor" On the site (not so good visible) there is hanging a dye cut of 25, made with "grafically speaking"

Kung Fu

It has been a long, long time ago but i'm back again! There were many things why i wasn't able to be creative; at first i had to build up my work again after being ill for a half year, than i had to find a new job because of reorganisation and finally i found a new love. He is a great guy and at the start of this month we are living together in my little house. So, live is good again and creativity is starting to grow inside of me.

I checked the blog of  'Stuck On U Sketches' and, as usual, they had another great challenge. See what i made of it: the picture shows my daughter, taking her exam for Kung Fu. She is a wonderfull girl, very sportive and she started doing Kung Fu half a year ago. She passed her exam perfectly. It takes strength, skills and art to do the exercises very well and i'm so proud of here.
It's really fun to be creative again and i'm looking forward to the the next challenge.
